About Dr. Dan Beers
An accomplished ophthalmic surgeon, Dr. Dan Beers currently heads Mountain View’s Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group. A specialist in laser vision correction and cataract surgery, Dr. Dan Beers is lauded for his minimally invasive techniques. In order to encourage a quicker recovery time for his patients, Dan Beers makes a small incision to perform cataract surgery. Utilizing top-of-the-line products such as ReSTOR, Toric intraocular lenses, and Crystalens, Dr. Dan Beers provides his patients with the most advanced treatments available. To date, Dr. Dan Beers has completed over 10,000 LASIK, cataracts, and lens implant procedures.
In addition to his work with the Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group, Dr. Dan Beers serves as the Chief of Ophthalmology at El Camino Hospital. Dr. Dan Beers also contributes his experience to Stanford University as a member of the adjunct ophthalmology faculty.
Dr. Dan Beers matriculated at the University of California, San Francisco, from which he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Dr Dan Beers went on to complete advanced ophthalmology training at Oregon Health Sciences. Dr. Dan Beers also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, where he graduated cum laude.
Committed to keeping abreast of evolving trends within the medical industry, Dr. Dan Beers maintains membership in organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
